Customs services of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia gathered in Minsk

Head of the Kazakh Customs Service Mazhit Yesenbayev informed the participants on the progress of Kazakhstan in the decisions taken in the framework of the Customs Union.
Special attention was paid to the development of the transit potential of the Customs Union member states. It was noted that the development of transport logistics necessary for international recognition of Kazakhstan as a safe route through the Central Asian region, and therefore, Kazakhstan pays much attention to measures that facilitate the development of the transit potential of the country. Heads of the customs services of Kazakhstan and Russia met within the visit and discussed issues of mutual cooperation.
In order to effectively use inspection system and joint activities on the customs control the Kazakh delegation visited Brest customs checkpoints such as "Kozlovichi", "Domachevo", "Warsaw Bridge" where Kazakhstani customers got familiarized with the infrastructure of the checkpoints, customs control of goods and means of transport, practice of immobile and mobile inspection systems.
