Culture Minister charged to raise level of Kazakh archives to Vatican's

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Minister of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhameiuly set a task to bring the level of the country's archives to the Vatican archives.
The minister believes the country's archives resemble warehouses to pile up documents put under lock and key. "Archives should turn into scientific centres," the minister said at today's enlarged meeting of the ministry's board.
