Cultural exchange strengthens Kazakh-Indian economic relations

UST KAMENOGORSK. October 20. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Cultural exchange is a good basis for strengthening of the Kazakh-Indian relations. Such opinion was expressed at the meeting of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Ashok Sajjanhar with Governor of East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev held on the eve of opening of a bust to outstanding Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore in Ust Kamenogorsk.
The sides discussed cooperation in light, nuclear, engineering industries. The regional Governor paid attention to the development of pharmaceutical industry since the region is growing unique medicinal herbs and has a great potential for using pantocrine in production of medicines.
The Akim suggested the diplomat organizing a study trip for the Indian businessmen to East Kazakhstan region aimed at specifying particular directions of further interaction.
After the meeting Ashok Sajjanhar took part in the opening of the bust to outstanding Indian poet, laureate of the Nobel Prize Rabindranath Tagore installed in Ust Kamenogorsk.
