CU prime ministers to meet in Minsk May 19

ASTANA. May 6. KAZINFORM Heads of Government of the Customs Union countries will gather in Minsk on May 19 for the 15th session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council.
This will be the final session of the CU supreme body before July 1, 2011 when internal control will be moved to the borders of the Customs Union, Kazinform cites BELTA.
The session is expected to enact some international agreements forming the regulatory-legal framework of the Customs Union.
The prime ministers will also discuss the declaration of application of the EurAsEC formation principles.
Besides, the heads of government will hear the reports on development of recommendations on introducing the amendments to the Treaty on the CU Commission, the course of performance of the Action Plan on formation of the Single Economic Space, the main results of the CU's functioning and priority goals for 2011-2012.
