As the Head of the Kazakh Government noted, one of the key issues at the negotiations was non-discriminatory access to railway routs at the territories of the CU member states.

As Prime Minister of Kazakhstan noted, President Nursultan Nazarbayev often raised this problem in different formats. "For the first time ever we have made such principled decision. I think it is very important. I hope these agreements will be signed in the overall agreement package", he said.

Russian Premier V.Putin added that today shippers had to pay so called transit tariff transporting their goods through the territories of the CU partners. "From January 1, 2013 we will unify the domestic tariff and export-import tariff and establish single regulatory mechanism", V.Putin said.
