CU member states start talks on formation of Single Economic Space

MOSCOW. October 15. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The Customs Union member states should mover toward the unification of the national legislations. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has made it public today opening the meeting of the Heads of Government of the CU member states.
The agenda of the meeting includes the issues of formation of the Single Economic Space that is planned to be established by 2012.
According to V.Putin, the Single Economic Space should provide our enterprises with unified work regulations, great freedom of choice and space for application of their might. "I believe, we should move toward unification of the national legislations forming a common legal space. Besides, further empowerment of the Customs Union Commission taking into account the experience that we gain today in the sphere of customs-tariff regulation is necessary", the Russian Premier said.
He also said that the issue of participation of the CIS and EurAsEC member states in the Customs Union was of special importance as well.
