CSTO, Union State to sign memorandum of cooperation

MINSK. August 9. KAZINFORM The memorandum of cooperation will be concluded by the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Union State Permanent Committee in Minsk on 9 August, BelTA learnt from the CSTO press service; Kazinform cites BelTA.
The document will be signed by CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha and Union State Secretary General Pavel Borodin.
“The document provides for improving and enhancing the efficiency of efforts by combining the capacities of the CSTO and the Union State Permanent Committee,” the press service informed. The parties are set to hold joint sessions, seminars, consultations and conferences, share information and analytical materials.
The document is aimed to build up practical cooperation across all the areas of mutual interest and to achieve goals articulated by the basic documents of the CSTO and the Union State.
