CSTO should promote stabilization of situation and ensuring security in Kyrgyzstan - Sec Gen Nikolay Bordyuzha

"These are the problems of instability of power, law-enforcement bodies, the activity of criminal structures, property distribution and pressure on business. I hope that those measures taken by the interim government of Kyrgyzstan will allow the country overcoming this difficult situation and solving the issues regarding elections", N. Bordyuzha added.
"The problem of Kyrgyzstan is the internal affair of this country. There was no fact of external intervention. The Kyrgyz people themselves must define the system of power, ensure order and democratic freedoms of the citizens, though I can realize how these processes impact the state security and security of people and economy", he stressed.
In this view, the presidents of the CSTO member countries, in particular heads of Kazakhstan, Russia, Prime Minister of Russia take efforts to stabilize the situation and prevent civil war.
"As for the Secretariat of the CSTO, a working group headed by Under Secretary General has worked there since April 8. The group analyzed the situation, held meetings with the representatives of political forces, parties, international organization. We do not suspend the problem. I do not see any reasoning for attracting forces for its solution. But I understand that the CSTO as an international structure including also Kyrgyzstan should promote stabilization of the situation and ensuring security", the CSTO Secretary General resumed.
