CSTO Sec Gen to meet with military-political leadership of Armenia

MOSCOW. January 12. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha has started his working trip to the Republic of Armenia today; Kazinform correspondent reports.
?The visit is paid in the context of preparation for the CSTO summit and discussion of the measures on implementation of the decisions made within the informal meeting of the CSTO states? heads which took place in Kazakhstan in December 2008?, Nikolay Bordyuzha informed before he left for Yerevan.
?The Republic of Armenia chairs the Organization and its view upon the issues of improvement of the CSTO activity is quite important for us. We will thoroughly discuss the preparation for the summit, its draft agenda with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the Chairman of the Collective Security Council?, N. Bordyuzha emphasized.
CSTO press secretary Vitaly Strugovets noted that the CSTO Secretary General was also expected to meet with the ministers of foreign affairs and defense and Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia within his working trip.
