CSTO ready to cooperate with NATO, Bordyuzha says

MOSCOW. January 26. KAZINFORM The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is ready to cooperate with NATO if they are ripe for cooperation with the CSTO, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha told a press conference in Moscow; Kazinform refers to BelTA.

"I think considering today's circumstances and the challenges that the humanity is facing nowadays, there is no alternative to cooperation between the two organizations that deal with security issues," he said.

According to him, the CSTO and NATO have a huge number of issues, "which join co-regulation may prove useful." Among them the political and religious extremism, natural and man-made nature and number of others, Nikolai Bordyuzha said.
