CSTO MPs to work out common stance at OSCE PA in Minsk

MINSK. May 11. KAZINFORM Heads and members of parliamentary delegations of the CSTO member states arrive in Minsk on 10 May to elaborate a coordinated stance before the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representative of the National Assembly of Belarus.

"The goal of the working meeting is to coordinate the stands of the parliamentary delegations of the CSTO member states to the OSCE PA before the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held in Belgrade on 6-11 July," said the spokesperson for the House of Representatives.

According to BelTA, taking part in the meeting will be Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives, head of the Belarusian delegation to the OSCE PA, Viktor Guminsky, Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic's Permanent Commission for international affairs and national security Nina Mazai, MPs, and Foreign Ministry officials.

The foreign delegations feature CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha, as well as parliamentarians from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The sides are scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings and tour of cultural sights of the Belarusian capital.
