CSTO migration chiefs to convene in Minsk on 15 September
The participants will review the results of the first stage of the Illegal Alien operation to prevent illegal migration, including human trafficking. The second stage of the operation will be held this year.
The migration officials will consider a possibility to set up a single interstate database of lost, illegally issued and invalid passports and visas. They will also discuss adaptation of migrant workers to the social and cultural environment of the country of residence in order to discourage illegal migration.
The participants of the session will also think of ways to enhance the efficiency of sharing information about the citizens of third countries entering the CIS and establishment of an interstate database on migrant workers and citizens of the EurAsEC; Kazinform cites BelTA.
