CSTO Head Nikolay Bordyuzha to meet with UN Sec Gen Ban Ki-moon

MOSCOW. April 18. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha will meet with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on April 22. The meeting will take place within the UN Sec Gen's visit to Russia.

Ban Ki-moon is expected to take part at the enlarged session of the CSTO Permanent Council which will be attended by the representatives of the CSTO countries, the head of the Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff.

Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee-Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev, Secretary General of the EurAsEC Tair Mansurov, ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, chairpersons of the committees on CIS affairs, international affairs, security, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Russian MFA were invited to the meeting.

As is known, on April 15 the UN Sec Gen started his visit to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia. In Russia Ban Ki-moon will meet with the country's President Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus Kirill.
