CSTO emergency chiefs to meet in Almaty in September

MINSK. KAZINFORM The heads of the emergencies ministries of the CSTO member states will meet in Almaty in September, Emergencies Minister of Belarus Vladimir Vashchenko told reporters on 22 July, BelTA has learnt.
"A joint session of the ministries of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will be held there. A session of the emergency coordination council will be conducted there within the framework of the CSTO. At least six ministers are expected to come to Almaty," Vladimir Vashchenko said. Simultaneously, the 10th World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport will take place in Almaty. By the way, athletes from Belarus won 5 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals in various categories and age groups at the fire and rescue sport championships that took place in the Czech Republic. "We believe that our teams have performed quite well," Vladimir Vashcehnko said, BelTA reports.
