CSTO discusses military staff training

MOSCOW. July 16. KAZINFORM /Arnur Rakhymbekov/ - The CSTO Permanent Council Committee sat in Moscow Wednesday to discuss the issues of military staff training, and the draft documents on improvement of the Organization activity in military cooperation.
In particular, the Permanent Council members discussed the draft Regulation on the basic educational organization of military staff training for the CSTO member countries. It was said, creation of such organization will allow developing common approaches in elaboration of effective study materials and training programs.
The draft document has been prepared in execution of the Plan of allied military formation of the armed forces of the CSTO member countries for the period till 2010 and further perspective.
A range of other issues of the Organization's military activity were reviewed at the meeting. The documents have been forwarded to the CSTO member countries for further reconciliation.
