Crucial to raise economy to USD 450 bln by 2029, President
Last year the economic growth of Kazakhstan made 5.1%. The task is to raise the economy to 450 billion US dollars by 2029, said the Head of State addressing the extended meeting of the Kazakh Government, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The President said today’s meeting sums up the results of the last year and outlines pressing issues for the period ahead. The key is that Kazakhstan maintained upward development trend.
The Head of State stressed the task is to raise the country’s economy up to 450 billion US dollars by 2029. To this end the GDP should annually grow at least by 6%. It is essential that the country’s macroeconomic indicators ensure outstripping growth of real household income. However, it is crucial to take mature and decisive actions to make a leap forward.
