Crucial to launch business improvement program right now - Kazakh PM

ALMATY. March 24. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ "We should have a clear trade policy within the framework of the industrial program and Business Road Map", Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has said it at the session in Almaty Akimat today.

"It is necessary to consider the trade policy in mid-term perspective. I think we are close to finishing preparation of the program. The Majilis and Senate have already supported us. The specified budget for 2010 is under President's consideration presently. By April 1 it may enter into force", Mr. Massimov noted.

The Prime Minister reminded that from April 1 the salaries throughout the public sector would be increased. "KZT 30 billion is envisaged in the budget for the Business Road Map. Our task is to run these funds as soon as possible", he emphasized.

According to the Premier, it is important to start business improvement program right now. "The current work on reforming the law-enforcement system will also support the development of small and medium businesses", K. Massimov said.
