Crucial to attract more tourists to Turkic-speaking countries

BODRUM. KAZINFORM "Tourism is the common promising direction for further development of the Turkic-speaking countries," Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, said taking the floor at the fourth Summit of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking Countries in Bodrum.

"It is crucial to attract more tourists to the Turkic world," the President added. "Last year the number of Chinese tourists made 100 mln people globally who spent about USD 102 bln. This figure is forecast to increase in the next decade. To this end we need to jointly develop this economic sector," Nazarbayev added. "There are lots of sights in the Turkic world to show the world community," he resumed.
