Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever focus to be eliminated in Kyzylorda

KYZYLORDA. KAZINFORM - Focuses of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever in 13 settlements of Kyzylorda will be sanitized in 2014.
According to Nurlan Akhmetov, acting chairman of Kyzylorda department of agriculture and veterinary, said that in 2014 the national budget allocated KZT 32 million 623 thousand for vaccination and diagnostic studies. Additional KZT 3 million 419 thousand have been allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of four kinds of biologic drugs while the city budget devoted KZT 2 million 864 thousand for the use of the medicine.
Moreover Kyzylorda city budget allocated KZT 17 million 244 thousand for catching stray dogs and cats.
