Creative and scientific intelligentsia can become driving force of spiritual processes - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. June 15. KAZINFORM The representatives of creative and scientific intelligentsia can become the driving force of the most important spiritual values and processes in our world. This is stated in the opening speech of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the participants of the international forum "Eurasian Culture in the New World", which takes place in Astana.

The President's welcome speech was read out by Secretary of State Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed at the opening of the international forum.

"Dear friends! It is symbolic that the forum of representatives of the cultural and creative community of Eurasia takes place in the heart, the young capital of independent Kazakhstan - Astana," Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his welcome speech.

However, Nazarbayev stressed that Kazakhstan has always been a platform for dialogue on the most pressing issues of our time.

The President recalled that recently our capital hosted the V Astana Economic Forum, which became, in fact, reflected the Eurasian look at the problems of global development. In addition, Astana held the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions with participation of 85 delegations from 40 countries. These forums promoted Kazakhstan's initiative on the model of world order and principles of the G-Global.

In conclusion, the Head of State wished all participants fruitful work and creative success.
