Creation and development of Metallurgy Center debated in East Kazakhstan region

UST KAMENOGORSK. November 25. KAZINFORM. /Lyudmila Malko/ International scientific-practical workshop entitled "Creation and Development of Metallurgy Center as Modern Innovative Infrastructure" has started in Ust Kamenogorsk today.
The idea on creation of the metallurgical center in East Kazakhstan region stems from the President N. Nazarbayev's annual address to the nation. The Kazakh leader set the task to develop and raise competitiveness of the mining-metallurgical industry in Kazakhstan.
Director of Israeli Research Center Polymate professor Oleg Figovsky, representatives of the Finnish company Autotech, scientists and specialists of East Kazakhstan mining enterprises, management of "Parasat" National Scientific Technological Holding, Center of Engineering and Technology Transfer, Kazatomprom JSC and others take part in the event.
