MATY. August 19. KAZINFORM /Berik Bekmurzayev/ The country's Constitution is our major political and value guideline. Dean of the Geography and Nature Management Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Vitaly Salnikov has said to a Kazinform correspondent.

According to him, the Kazakhstani people live in peace and harmony. "We actively solve the socio-economic matters, create jobs, together build the future," the scientist said.

"Adoption of the Constitution on August 30, 1995 became the most important event in the contemporary history of the country. The Constitution adopted and consolidated the status of Kazakhstan as a part of the international community, creating efforts for development of every citizen. It gave a chance to construct a multinational, legal and democratic state," V.Salnikov said.

"We are a young country. President Nursultan Nazarbayev always pays special attention to the youth. Owing to his initiatives and support there are created all conditions for obtaining education," he emphasized.
