Coordination of analytical and research activities regarding «Kazakhstan-2050» Strategy held in Akorda

ASTANA. April 19. KAZINFORM - Today in Akorda there has been conducted the first meeting of the Interagency Working Group on Coordination of analytical and research in key areas of the "Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy: a new policy of established state", the press-service of the President reports.

The event, held under the chairmanship of the Secretary of State Marat Tazhin was attended by members of the Government, representatives of the Presidential Administration, university rectors, heads of research institutes, the Republican scientific activity, and leading experts.

Presentations were made by the Secretary of State M.Tazhin, Deputy Prime Minister K.Kelimbetov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sultanov, Minister of Education and Science B.Zhumagulov, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning E.Dosaev, and Rector of "Turan" University R.Alshanov.

They debated the specific challenges facing the research community of the country, the quality of training in the social and human sciences, and research priorities for scientific structures in the medium term.

Following the meeting, the Secretary of State M.Tazhin gave specific instructions to state agencies for adoption of a new state of the scientific order and the development of a competitive market professional research in Kazakhstan.
