Cooperation with int'l organizations reduce terrorism threats, Kazakh National Security Committee
"The Kazakh antiterrorist centre pays great attention to the development of mutual benefit cooperation with specialized international and regional antiterrorist structures. One of the country's permanent partners is the OSCE Centre Astana. Fruitful cooperation with the centre laid the foundation for practical cooperation with the European antiterrorist structures," he said addressing the international conference on combating terrorism and extremism in Astana. "We managed to minimize terrorism threats thanks to the joint efforts with foreign partners such as the SCO regional antiterrorist structure and CIS antiterrorist centre," he noted. "The so-called "terrorist international", quite actively carrying out propaganda, first of all, in the social networks, enjoys significant financial backing and aiding infrastructure," he stressed.
