Cooperation Memo inked between KAZINFORM and Spanish EFE

The document was endorsed during the meeting between Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov and the chairman of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain Mariano Rajoy, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit. Earlier Mr.Rahoya met with the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev when they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in various spheres of interaction.

Form the Kazakh side the document has been signed by the head of KazInform Dauren Diyarov and from the Spanish side it has been endorsed by the Managing Director of «EFE» Ignacio Sanz.

«EFE» is a leading information and news agency in the world in Spanish, part of the "big five" international news agencies along with the Associated Press, United Press International, Thomson Reuters and Agence France-Presse.

The Agency has its own global network of correspondents, it involves more than 3,000 professionals, enabling to cover events in 120 countries around the clock.

Half of the news agencies in Latin America is the primary information from agency «EFE». In turn, the news agency "KazInform" in 2014 is planning to open its branch office in Madrid.
