Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan at Caspian Sea features mutual understanding - I. Aliyev

During the meeting the President of Azerbaijan noted that the relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan had always been friendly, and now they may be even called strategic. Having emphasized a high level of political relations, the Azerbaijani President said that the two countries had always supported each other within the international organizations.

The Head of Azerbaijan noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were implementing important joint economic, energy and transport projects and stressed that it all helped to strengthen the cooperation potential between the countries.

President I. Aliyev told that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan had complete mutual understanding regarding the status of the Caspian Sea and cooperation within the basin of the sea. The President also expressed his hope that the bilateral relations of the countries would continue to become stronger during the tenure of B. Isabayev as an ambassador to Azerbaijan and the countries aimed their efforts at ensuring regional cooperation and stability.

In turn, B. Isabayev handed I. Aliyev a message from President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

He also said that the friendly and brotherly relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan would continue to develop at the highest level. B. Isabekov also assured the Head of Azerbaijan that he would exert every effort to develop the relations between the two countries.
