Cooperation among OSCE states' universities to be enhanced even more intensively - Senator Adil Akhmetov

ASTANA. October 11. KAZINFORM Interuniversity relations take a vital role in training qualified personnel. Senator Adil Akhmetov said it at the meeting on issues of culture and environment which was held within the autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Palermo, the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan informs.
The Kazakh deputy briefed about priorities of "Path to Europe' state program and noted that Kazakhstan joined the 'Bologna Process' and many higher educational institutions established good relations with the universities of Russia, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy and the USA.
There are joint projects on training specialists and scientists that are realized now.
A. Akhmetov also told about education aboard under 'Bolashak' Presidential scholarship and pointed out the role of international institutions established in Kazakhstan on the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
A. Akhmetov expressed confidence that the level of cooperation among universities of the OSCE member countries would be enhanced even more intensively.
