Contracts on cooperation with foreign investors totaling KZT 15 bln signed in Zhambyl region

They are five agreements and two memoranda on cooperation, one export contract and one loan agreement with partners from Italy, France, Spain, Russia and Iran.

Among them is a memo on cooperation in the field of hydro energy, wind power and other types of renewable energy was signed between RusHydro JSC (Russia) and Akimat of Zhambyl region.

An agreement on cooperation in the sphere of sheep breeding and implementation of joint projects in agro-industrial sector was signed between Akimat of Zhambyl region and Iranian company Diba San.

Taraz JV JSC and Spanish company Contracta Technical Resources agreed to cooperate in the sphere of supply of foreign equipment and technique.

Representative of Sefita Company (Italy) signed agreement on cooperation in the sphere of yarn production with Taraz Wool Scouring Plant.

The approximate cost of the signed contracts makes KZT 15 billion. The agreements will allow to boost competitiveness of the region and approach the world markets.
