Construction of water boiler's first stage to be started in 2012 - Astana Mayor

ASTANA. October 9. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Design works are to be completed in Astana by 2012, and construction of the first stage of a thermal power plant-3 - a water boiler - is to be started.
Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov has announced it at a session on further Astana development with the Kazakh President's participation.
As the Mayor noted, the projects on reconstruction of the main heat reservoirs - thermal power plant-1, thermal power plant-2 - do not solve the issues of prospective development of Astana till 2020.
The balance of heating capacities and strains till 2020 demonstrates, that from 2016 it is necessary to commission additional capacities.
"Design works will be completed in Astana by 2012, and construction of the first stage of the thermal power plant-3 - the water boiler - will be started", I.Tasmagambetov said.
