Construction of 'Uzen-State border with Turkmenistan' railroad likely to be finished by Dec 2011

AKTAU. July 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Yesterday within the working trip around Mangystau oblast Prime Minister Karim Massimov checked out the course of construction of Uzen-State border with Turkmenistan railroad.
"This is the personal instruction of the Head of the State: the project must be completed by the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence", Karim Massimov said during the visit to Bastau point.
Besides, the PM charged to consider the issues regarding infrastructure, services and establishment of productions along the railroad.
In turn, Managing Director of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Company Adilsha Ermukhanov said that Turkmenistan and Iran had agreed on synchronous completion of their railroad sections in December 2011.
