Construction of Kazakhstan national pavilion in Expo town begins in June

As explained by director of the Department of Architecture of the national company Kanat Mukhashev, the national pavilion features a sphere 80 meters in diameter.

"This building should become a decoration of "Astana EXPO-2017" and one of the symbols of the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017", he said. According to the press service of the national company, the main phase of construction is scheduled for 2015 and 2016. Since the beginning of 2017 the participating countries will work on installation and arrangement of their pavilions. The complex will be located on the territory of 173.4 hectares, surrounded by the main feeder roads of the capital: Kabanbai batyr and Orynbor Avenues to the east and west, inner ring street of Hussein Bin Talal to the north, Turar Ryskulov Street to the south.
