Construction of geological exploration center in Astana to kick off in 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Construction of a geological exploration center will commence in Astana in 2015, according to Kazgeology JSC.
The company said in a statement that feasibility study and design and project documentation are underway. More than 12 billion tenge will be channeled into the construction process that will start in the second quarter of 2015. Nazarbayev University and Kazgeology JSC will finance the project. The Astana-based center will be responsible for integrated geological, geochemical and applied scientific research of Kazakhstan's mineral wealth in accordance with international standards.
