Construction of five industrial facilities to be completed in Astana this year – Mayor Tasmagambetov

"Five construction facilities will be completed this year. They are a plant on production of sandwich panels, furniture factory, production-technological complex, glass-ware plant and plant on production of Talgo passenger carriages", the Mayor informed.

According to him, the launch of these facilities will allow to create about 600 jobs. Meanwhile, I. Tasmagambetov noted that construction of other 20 facilities will be started this year among which are pharmaceutical plant, plant on refrigerator installation, tube making plant and etc.

"Successful functioning of the Industrial Park (Astana city) will create additional 7,000 jobs as well as increase the revenue side of the capital budget", the Mayor said.

He clarified that the output volume will amount to KZT 100 bln per year whereas the tax amount to the budget will reach over KZT 7 bln per year.
