Construction of 2011 Asian Games facilities in Almaty is on schedule

ALMATY. May 5. KAZINFORM Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yesimov surveyed the process of construction of facilities of the Asian Winter Games 2011, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Mayor.
The Mayor visited high-mountainous skating rink "Medeo" where a run-in tests of new ice cover was underway. The ice floe will work by a new six-zoned scheme. Each zone is provided by a group of cooling pumps. Besides, a new scoreboard and lightening system were installed at the skating rink.
The Mayor surveyed the road leading to "Medeo" and "Shymbulak" ski resort as well. He charged to demolish high fences of constructed and unexploited facilities and illegally built facilities along the road. A.Yesimov also charged to provide places for construction of car parking.
