ASTANA. January 11. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Constitutional Council has chosen the law and norms, the President - a human and his rights, CEC Deputy Chairman Vladimir Foos said at a meeting.
"On January6, 2012, we adopted a resolution that the elections in the town of Zhanaozen will not be held. The resolution was adopted on the basis of the Constitutional Council's decision, which was later vetoed by the President. The Constitutional Council has chosen the law and norms, the President - a human and his rights. The President was right, and the fact, that the veto was not overridden, confirms this," V.Foos noted.
