Constitution ensured unity of state institutions and unity of people - President

ASTANA. August 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Due to the Constitution Kazakhstan was able to ensure unity of state institutions and unity of the people. President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the international scientific conference Constitution - Basis of Democratic Development of State being held at present in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana.
"The Main Law of our country enshrines the fundamental values for all Kazakhstanis - integrity and indivisibility of the Kazakh land which has become a motherland for 140 ethnic groups and 46 religious communities. This is also a strict ban on discrimination of the citizens of Kazakhstan on the ground of gender, nationality, religion and other. Major constitutional principles - peace, stability, economic development for the benefit of all people are based on it", M. Nazarbayev said.
The Head of State noted that the unity of people is the unity of state institutions, first of all. This goal was achieved due to the Constitution.
