TANA. August 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Adoption of the Constitution of 1995 allowed to improve the mechanism of ensuring and protection of human and civil rights.
Commissioner for Human Rights Askar Shakirov has made it public at an international scientific conference "The state and personality: 20 years of development of Kazakhstan on the way of progress."
"Adoption of the Constitution of 1995 allowed to transfer to market economy, integrate it in the world economic community, strengthen the institution of the state power, improve the mechanism of ensuring and protection of human and civil rights, and boost peace and stability in the country," A.Shakirov said.
He also noted that the country's basic law is in the process of development and improvement in the context of contemporary challenges.
