Congolese President: Kazakhstan – most important country in CA
Kazakhstan has achieved significant progress in the past 20 years. President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassou-Nguesso said it at the meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana today, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Denis Sassou-Nguesso noted that both Kazakhstan and the Republic of Congo take decisions today called to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
Denis Sassou-Nguesso thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for appointing Kazakhstani Ambassador to Congo, adding that this decision demonstrates the Kazakh President’s desire to enhance and develop the two countries’ relations.
He noted that the Kazakh and Congolese experts and ministers have done enormous work and have developed a number of agreements.
The Congolese President expressed confidence that the two countries’ joint work will be fruitful and mutually beneficial.
He also praised Kazakhstan’s progress achieved in the past 20 years.
He stressed that Kazakhstan has become the most important partner in Central Asia, with the GDP at 50% of the entire region.
“We welcome this success. We would like to highlight that our friends from Kazakhstan are well experienced in all spheres. Today we want to apply this experience,” Congolese President Denis Sassou-Nguesso said.
