Confirmed cases of A/H1N1 flu in Brazil reach 9

RIO DE JANEIRO. May 22. KAZINFORM The Brazilian Health Ministry on Thursday evening confirmed another case of A/H1N1 flu, bringing the total number of infected people in the country to nine, Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

According to the ministry, the patient is a 39-year-old man from Sao Paulo state. He was infected with the flu virus during a trip to the United States, from where he returned Tuesday. On Wednesday, the patient was admitted to a hospital. Brazil had not registered new confirmed case of A/H1N1 flu since May 10. The other 8 people infected with the flu in the country have all left hospital after going through the contagion phase.
