Conference on realization of President's Address opens in Astana

"We've gathered here to continue practical steps on realization of the President's Address to the Nation "Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity", determine priority directions and propose ways of overcoming the crisis consequences and further economic growth", Kazakh Minister of Education Zhanseit Tuimebayev said opening the conference.

"Our efforts will be focused on the strengthening of Kazakhstan's statehood, national identity, study of our historical origin and international experience in determination of priorities of political development of the state", he noted.

Prominent scientists, public figures, deputies of the Kazakh Parliament, teachers take part in the two-day forum.

The conference is organized by the Institute of History of State under the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
