Conference devoted to SCO 10th anniversary held in Shanghai

BEIJING. May 13. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Conference devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization took place in Shanghai on Thursday.
In his welcome remarks SCO Secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev noted that for ten years the organization laid a solid foundation for its sustainable development. Formation of common principles and fundamentals of the international law serve as a powerful impetus to the development of multilateral cooperation within the organization.
Accordint to Abdulmannap Karibekov, the Kazakh Consul General to Shanghai, SCO member states established a useful platform for long-term security, political and diplomatic interaction and multilateral cooperation on the basis of the 'Shanghai Spirit'.
