Conception of urban construction program presented in Aktobe

The document was developed under the instruction of the Mayor of Aktobe city by research and production association Mostovic of Orsk city. "The prospects of Aktobe city are large as the population is increasing. For today the population of the city amounted to 400 thousand people whereas over 120 thousand automobiles were registered", - Mayor of Aktobe Arkhimed Mukhambetov said.

In view of construction of the international transport corridor 'West Europe - West China' the prospects of the transport network development should be also taken into account.

The Russian experts examined Aktobe traffic flows and revealed its problem areas. According to Chief Architect of Mostovik Alexander Gatsenko a large number of auto transport and low traffic capacity of crossroads are the problem of Aktobe city. 

In particular, the city-building council was proposed to consider creation of an arterial road for cargo transport as well as construction of several traffic interchanges, subways and bridges. At present the proposed conception is on consideration of experts.
