ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM Compulsory military service soldier M. Nurov died following the mechanical asphyxia on January 24 at the territory of military unit in Zhambyl region, the press service of the Border Guard of the Kazakh National Security Committee reported.
According to preliminary data, one of his comrade-in-arms, inadvertently hit Nurov. Whereupon Nurov fell and lost consciousness. An ambulance responded to the scene pronounced Nurov dead.
Currently, the Military Investigation Department of Zhambyl region is conducted pre-investigation activities.
