Commission on combating corruption under RK President held regular session

ASTANA-AKORDA. May 20. KAZINFORM Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev has chaired a regular session of the Commission on combating corruption under the President of Kazakhstan in Akorda Palace today.
In connection with the April Decree of the President on enhancing the struggle against crimes and corruption, the agenda of the sitting included discussion of the measures on prevention of corruption crimes in state bodies.
Chairman of the Agency for Fighting with Economic and Corruption Crimes Kairat Kozhamzharov, Prosecutor General Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Accounting Committee Omarkhan Oxikbayev, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Natalya Korzhova and Vice Chairman of the National Security Committee Nurgali Bilisbekov made reports.
Reports of the Akims of the East Kazakhstan and South Kazakhstan regions Berdybek Saparbayev and Askar Myrzakhmetov on implementation of the 2006-2010 regional programs on struggle against corruption were heard as well.
Following the sitting the Commission recommended the appropriate state bodies to adopt comprehensive measures on fulfillment of the President?s tasks on combating corruption.
