Coming mission - high appreciation of our achievements: Kazakh President

Opening the session the Kazakh President reminded that Kazakhstan will chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in five months.

"We must be prepared for this event. We have already developed "Path to Europe" program. Our chairmanship of the Organization is our main achievement during the years of independence", the Head of the State said.

N.Nazarbayev stressed that among all Muslim and CIS countries only Kazakhstan was honored to be elected for the position of the chairman of the Organization. He noted that the chairmanship rests great responsibility on our country.

"It became possible, firstly, thank to our independence and, secondly, due to our stable economic development, internal and external policy of our state and the unity of our society. The coming mission is a high appreciation of our achievements", N.Nazarbayev said.

 The President noted that the Government, the Parliament and all state bodies must exert every effort to make our chairmanship in the Organization successful.
