Collection of S Korean fairytales presented in Astana
Consisting of 10 popular folklore pieces, the collection was published not only for little readers, but also for those who are studying the language and exploring the culture of South Korea. A run of 1,500 copies of the book written by Dastan Akash was published. The second collection of the South Korean folklore is set to be published as well. "Art and literature bring people and nations closer. Thanks to such books, our children can learn more about the culture of other nations and enrich their inner world," well-known Kazakh poet Nesipbek Aituly said at the presentation. "Kazakhstan and South Korea are currently implementing large economic projects, but, I strongly believe that relations between youngsters and cultural exchange are the most important things for the future," said South Korean Ambassador Pak Chu-Khen hailing Dastan Akash for invaluable contribution to the Kazakh-South Korean relations.
