Coins of Kazakhstan National Bank shine at international contest
The Balkhash perch coin won first place in the Original Technology nomination at the Coin Constellation international contest, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakhstan National Bank’s press service.
The Moon and Sun coin of Kazakhstan and the Butterfly Diamond Love coin by CIT Coin Invest AG (Lichtenstein) grabbed bronze in the Souvenir Coin nomination.
The Korkyt Ata coin also took bronze in the Coin Classics category.
This year the contest brought together 24 participants from 18 countries.
Recently the National Bank introduced the Shanyragynyz shattyqqa tolsyn (Peace to your house), a part of the From Heart to Heart series.
In addition, the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) continues to delight collectors with new issues of unique coins. One of the latest novelties was the “Shanyragynyz shattyqqa tolsyn” (Peace to your home) collectible coins from the "From Heart to Heart" series.
