Club of Friends of Kazakhstan holds third meeting in Minsk
In his speech Ergali Bulegenov informed the members of the club on the international events that took place in Astana. The diplomat turned the attention of those present at the meeting on the results of the international conference, From a Nuclear Test Ban to a Nuclear-Weapons-Free World, under the ATOM project, the meeting of the CICMA Council of Foreign Ministers and the 10th Eurasian Media Forum, BelTA reports.
The members of the club shared opinions on the events held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations and outlined an action plan for the next year with an emphasis on cultural cooperation.
Ergali Bulegenov congratulated the Belarusians on the successful parliamentary elections and noted that the elections had been held in line with the national legislation and universal democratic norms.
The club was set up to strengthen brotherly relations between the two nations in the vein of strategic partnership, develop and consolidate political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and sci-tech cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus.
