Club of Friends of Kazakhstan held a sitting in Ankara

ASTANA. July 27. KAZINFORM In Kazakhstan's Embassy in Ankara there took place a traditional meeting of the Club of Friends of Kazakhstan, the members of which are prominent political and public figures of the Turkish Republic, the press service of the embassy reports.

The event aims to sustain and deepen the historical brotherly relations between the peoples of the two countries in the spirit of strategic partnership and to support the work of the Embassy in development and strengthening of political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian, scientific and technical cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey .

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Tuimebayev in his speech informed the members about the economic, social and political changes that had taken place since Kazakhstan's independence. Particular attention has been paid to the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan, and stressed that the main goal of our programs was to strengthen the well-being of the people.

During the event the guests were shown a video about the economic development of Kazakhstan and a photo exhibition named "15 years of Astana", where the Turkish community was presented photographs of formation and development of the capital of Kazakhstan.

Turkish friends expressed wishes to the people of Kazakhstan of continued prosperity and stability, highlighting the growing interest in enhancing friendly relations with our country.
