Clinical trials of vaccines against bird and swine flu to be completed in Kazakhstan by March, 2010

The Director emphasized, that the epidemiological situation in the country is stable, but in a complicated situation Kazakhstan plans to buy A/H1N1 vaccine. "The Kazakh Ministry of Healthcare will define procurement time taking into account the prevailing situation. We need tested, high quality vaccine", he emphasized.
B.Baiserkin noted that all medical aid posts located on the borders with Kazakhstan neighbors are equipped with necessary stationary and thermal scanners; all the staff are trained and provided with the necessary protective equipment.
